It's Oh Soho Orange

Here is my final outfit post from NYC. I wore this outfit on the one marathon day of my trip. We did brunch and shopping in Soho, grabbed lunch in Chinatown, walked the Brooklyn Bridge, saw a bunch of friends and had dinner at Momofuku Noodle Bar to end the night. I am really ashamed to admit that my legs were aching by the end of the day. I had shin splints and actually started limping by the time we got back to our hotel. A true New Yorker, I am not. I realized that it probably means I need to work out more, which depressed me so much that I got a bag of pretzel truffles at Momofuku Milk Bar to make myself feel better. Don't judge me. I have my own way of dealing with things. It's this new methodology called denial. It's pretty awesome. You should try it.

I am currently having a love affair with burnt orange. I'm not sure what it is, but I just love how bright and vibrant it is. This scarf brightened up my outfit unbelievably and kept it from being boring. It also allowed my boyfriend to pick me out of a crowd in Soho in about three seconds flat, which proved to be very useful.

This necklace (sorry the picture quality is so bad...I desperately need a new camera) is one of the Valentine's Day presents I got. I have to give the boyfriend props one more time. I love how the scarf brings out the orange in the flowers. I can't wait to try and style it with other things.
