It's a Bird, It's a Plane

 Sometimes I feel like I buy dresses because they are such easy go-to pieces when you're feeling uncreative or uninspired. They are pretty and simple and can be worn lots of different ways. Lately, I have been really drawn to dresses with fun prints and ruffles. This one that I snagged off Ruche is already a new favorite. It's navy blue, it's got such a fun birds print, and it's got a kicky ruffle. It's comfortable and flattering and will transition great to spring when I'll be able to wear it with wedge espadrilles or sandals.

I have been carrying this bag everywhere. I picked it up from a street vendor in Soho for an unbelievable price (which makes it an instant favorite), and it's so versatile and comfortable and buttery soft. My boyfriend attempted to do some bargaining for it, which is his specialty and my nightmare. I hate bargaining! At the end of bargaining session, the vendor came down from his price a little, but not quite enough to make my boyfriend happy. He then attempted to tell me to walk away from the bag and find something else, but I gave him my best "are-you-insane?" look and took out my wallet. I would have paid what the vendor was asking for before any bargaining! I know, I know, I should get "sucker" tattooed to my forehead. Anyone else love a bargain but hate bargaining like me? I know you're supposed to bargain with street vendors, but I Just. Can't. Do. It. Thank God the boyfriend can. I knew there was a reason I liked him.
